Papa Roach has always been more than just a rock band for a lot of us—it’s the soundtrack of high school struggles, late-night overthinking, and trying to figure yourself out when everything feels heavy. Songs like *“Last Resort”* hit different when you’re young, giving voice to emotions we didn’t know how to say, and for many it quietly helped with mental health more than we realised at the time.
So when that kind of energy makes it to a place like Sydney, it feels like those old emotions come full circle—but now as survival and strength instead of pain. Even for those of us from a small island like Cebu, it’s like a reminder that those bedroom-rock-concert moments weren’t small at all—they were the beginning of something that still lives in us every time the music hits.
