Meeting and greeting Incubus is like a dream within a dream—a surreal, out-of-body moment that I’ve been longing for since I was a kid in grade school. Their music has been with me through it all, shaping not just the soundtrack of my life but the very core of my creativity. So much of my art is inspired by their sound, their lyrics, their vision—each piece a reflection of how deeply their work resonates with me.

For years, I dreamed of seeing them live, let alone standing face-to-face with the band that has been a constant source of inspiration. It wasn’t easy getting here. I worked three, sometimes four jobs at a time, saving up every spare cent to afford the meet-and-greet ticket. It wasn’t just a luxury; it was a goal, something I poured my heart and energy into achieving.

And when that moment finally came—standing there with Incubus, the band that had unknowingly shaped so much of who I am—it was everything I could have hoped for and more. It felt like all the hard work, all the late nights and long hours, were worth it for this fleeting but monumental experience. Meeting them wasn’t just about shaking hands or snapping a photo. It was about connecting with the people who had given me so much inspiration, reminding me why I fell in love with music, art, and life itself.
