Episode 2 – Books, Bags & Letting Go | Moving from City to Regional Australia
This is the 7-minute overview of my decluttering journey as I prepare to leave the city and move to regional Australia.
In this episode, I go through something personal — my books, my bags, and the weight we carry (physically and emotionally). As an artist, hostel receptionist, healthcare worker, offshore businessman, healthcare student, toy maker, and W.I.P. comic creator… I’ve collected more than just objects. I’ve collected identities.
But not everything gets to come with me.
This chapter is about: • Letting go of books that shaped past versions of me
• Choosing which bags will carry my next season of life
• Deciding what is essential vs. sentimental
• Accepting that growth requires release
If you’re in a transition season — moving, evolving, shifting careers, or shedding old skin — maybe this will help you reflect on what you’re holding onto.
I’ve cut the series into short, focused segments so you can follow along in the areas that resonate most with you. Take what you need. Leave what you don’t.
We’re not just decluttering space.
We’re decluttering identity.
Join me in this journey — and tell me:
What’s the hardest thing for you to let go of right now?
ENJOY.
