The Tiny Creatures - Raiders of the Shadows; An unfinished Project of half decade proportions.

Let me tell you about a passion project of mine that was the fruit of childhood mind stories, an imagination that never left, and 2 to 3 years of staying at home during the pandemic mind-wars.

Here I introduce to you ....

THE TINY CREATURES : RAIDERS OF THE SHADOWS.

The comic book concept art I mad for when I was already starting the comic story line.

Yes, above was the picture of the comic book I was working on. Inspired by my Imagination over the years , thinking what these "tiny creatures" would be doing on a daily basis and the adventures they endure and go through in the world of the Humanoids.

Growing up in my country, staple creatures you would find even though you would have a parent who would not sleep until the house is clean, you would still find these creatures lurking in the shadows of the house. These I would say, are the staple creatures you would see and they are the Tapay-tapay or house spider, the grey rats or Ilaga , and A Gecko or locally called Tuko. Now the red eared turtle is not a staple creature, but where I am from, somehow there is that friend who had a turtle as a pet and it is usually pet shop bought and it is a red eared turtle.

Creating in the Chaos: Why I Still Make Art When Life is Full

Creating in the Chaos: Why I Still Make Art When Life is Full

Life doesn’t wait.

There are bills to pay, shifts to show up for, groceries to carry, and responsibilities that pile up whether we’re ready or not. And yet… in between all of that, I still need to create.

It’s survival—not of the body, but of the soul.
I’m building a space for people like me—people who love toys and prepping, art and travel, camping and creativity.
It’s strange, fun, and a little messy—just like life.

Share it in the comments, or tag me on Instagram so I can cheer you on.

Art isn’t always about galleries or perfection. Sometimes it’s a scribble on the back of a receipt, a doodle in a notebook during lunch, or a quick burst of color on a canvas before bed.

This blog is my way of holding onto that spark.

If you’re pulled in all directions but still dream of creating something, this is for you.

Let’s build, explore, imagine, and make—together.

What’s one creative thing you’ve done lately, even if life felt too busy?

The Messy Middle: What No One Tells You About Starting Over

Here is a Quick snack for thought about resetting your life:

We often glorify beginnings—the courage to start over, the fresh start, the "new me" energy. And we celebrate happy endings.
But what about the messy middle? That uncertain, awkward, soul-stretching phase between letting go and truly arriving?

That’s where most of us get lost.
That’s where I was—and maybe, where you are too.

The Space Between

No one tells you that after a big decision—ending a relationship, leaving a job, moving countries—there’s a strange emotional no-man’s-land.
You're not who you were, but you’re not yet who you're becoming.

People might cheer you on, but inside, it’s quiet. Uncertain. Even scary.

I used to think starting over meant immediate change. But really, it meant learning how to sit in silence and let the confusion breathe.

Things That Helped Me in the Messy Middle

1. Tiny routines
Taking care of my personal Hygiene at the right time. Decluttering a little. Morning walks. Tea or Coffee in silence. These small acts gave my days shape when my life didn’t have one.

2. Creative outlets
Drawing, writing, making little crafts—my soul needed to express, not impress.

3. Permission to feel everything
Sadness, anger, hope, boredom. All welcome. All real.

4. Imagining my future self
I’d ask: What would future me be proud of today?

You’re Not Alone

If you’re in the middle—unsure, questioning, doubting—know this: it’s part of the process.
You’re not behind. You’re not broken. You’re just in between.

The middle is messy because transformation is. And just like a painting, it often looks chaotic before it makes sense.

To the One in Transition

You don’t have to rush through this.
You don’t have to have it all figured out.

Breathe.
Keep showing up for yourself.
Something beautiful is unfolding—even if you can't see it yet.

Now REFLECT and set an adventure for yourself!
